I love it when a plan comes together...

We've received orders to remain on high alert for a potential upcoming mission. We've both talked about it recently, but timing is now reaching the critical phase. Please see the telegram below sent to Energizer on our behalf and understand that I and my Team Partner Special Agent PJ-493875 (aka) "Princess" Jenn may be detained from participating in non-essential activities in the coming weeks.

These special missions crop up occasionally, but it's all part of the job really; one that I and my partner take very seriously, especially when Canadian representation is at stake. We wave the red and white proudly up here and don't want our potential client to miss any opportunities in New York or in Canada.

As you are all surely aware, general details of the assignment have already been leaked, and involve such tactical measures as: Brand Awareness, Product Promotion, Dispersement of USB Drives, Excitement Creation and Relationship Building, but the final orders for this mission will not be released until the tactical team has been selected. Clearly, this is a job for professionals.

Because of the massive leak about the operation on Twitter, focus is being lost and the required excitement is at risk unless the right people are chosen.

Fortunately, Jenn and I both have existing level 5 National Security Clearance from the recent G20 so we're already ahead of the pack. It's who you know people...

We have also begun to deploy tactical measures in anticipation of this assignment and we're eager to put our many talents to good use.

Unfortunately, that's all we can divulge right now.

Once at BlogHer, we'll be able to tell you everything!

Jenn and I can’t wait to see you there!

Why I Should Be An Energizer Smart ChargeHER

There are some very exciting Energizer sponsorships being offered up in contests by Kailani at An Island Life and Krissy on Barefoot Mommies!

Determining the right people to represent Energizer at BlogHer 2010 can seem like a daunting task. After all, the conference will be chock-full of fabulous women. Who among them are the top choices? How do you decide?

As with anything this important, it's tempting to let emotions get involved which can prove to be really great, but there's also an opportunity for it to be a really bad idea.

So instead, what's needed in situations like this, is unsubstantiated, scientific proof of effectiveness on which to base such key decisions.

I've taken the liberty of running some tests and trials to assist in helping Energizer make a fail proof choice for one of the available sponsorships, using a science experiment so simple a 10 year old could transcribe the results.

Goal:

Determine an ideal candidate to be an Energizer Smart ChargeHER at BlogHer 2010 in New York City.

Hypothesis:

Karen, aka @agentninety9 will be attending BlogHer this year for the first time. She's excited about making strong connections with the people she's been building relationships with online. Thanks to her 15 year career in communications, sales and marketing, Karen is well seasoned in conferences and events as well as influential marketing and sponsorship activation. Her warm demeanor and authenticity make her both likeable and approachable. The prediction is that by combining these personal attributes and finely honed skills with an Energizer Sponsorship, the end result will be a measurable and highly successful event for both Karen and Energizer.

Equipment / Resources:

For the experiment, several components were required; the Energizer brand itself, Energizer's marketing ideas for BlogHer 2010, sponsorship concept combined with the conference, and of course, Karen.

As a control, tests were also run on both obviously bad and predictably exceptional alternatives.

Method:

Connect concepts of the brand, the conference and the sponsorship to the vehicle using a simple circuit to measure available energy and fit for the marketing goals.

Results:

Results supported with photographic evidence.

In control test one, the obviously bad choice ("the Wall-flower") was connected to Energizer through the conference and sponsorship with the goal of bringing Energizer's marketing goals to life. The test produced the predicted negative result, even after tripling support.

In test two, the inarguably awesome and magical winged unicorn failed to give the desired result. Hmmm, perplexing.

In the final experiment, using Karen as the primary vehicle, it was evidenced that the connection and spark needed to bring the desired result to 'light' was very successful.

Conclusion:

As predicted, Karen preformed flawlessly in the trial. Interestingly, Karen was even able to achieve the desired result after the legendary unicorn failed to do anything. Clearly, Karen is not only a dependable option; she's the right choice for an Energizer Smart ChargeHER Sponsorship. After all, it's hard to argue with scientific fact isn't it?
